Scott Nicholas Robinson was born 12/25/45 at 5:10am to Herbert & Lucille Robinson, at the brand new Dr.'s Hospital; which is now Harbor View. He was their 3rd child, but the first boy in the family! Everyone spoiled him! His father was an avid fisherman & hunter & Scott followed in his footsteps. He loved fishing & hunting, he had so many stories about fishing & hunting trips his family would go on every year. They lived in Rainier Valley on Findlay St. where he had a very special friend Mrs. Lombardee, he described her as an Irish Italian he loved her red hair. & she dubbed him McTavis. When he was 5 the family moved to Spokane; where his dad opened the very first TV store in Spokane. He grew up there. They went camping, fishing & hunting almost every weekend from opening day fishing to closing day of hunting. Scott left Mead High School when he was 16 & joined the Air Force; sadly he wasn't in the service for long, they found out that he was just 16 & gave him an honorable discharge. He went back to Spokane & married his high school sweetheart. They quickly had 2 sons; life was hard for a 17yr old with a wife & 2 boys. He bounced from job to job in Spokane, so he moved them to Renton in 63. He worked at the Space Needle for a little while, the Blue Onion in Bellevue, a car dealership on Rainier Ave., & then he got on with Boeing, making good money, & working long hours; because of this, his first marriage deteriorated after 5 yrs they divorced. In late 67 Scott & his sister Margie's next-door neighbor Betty Kampsen whose marriage was deteriorating also; became involved. Betty divorced in 68. In 69 Scott went to work for PacCar in Renton as a Boilermaker a perfect job for him & then Scott & Betty were married; until his death. They had Christopher in 71. They used to fish & hunt almost every weekend, just like his parents did. He was a CRAZY STEELHEAD fisherman. He would get up early before work & go fish the Cedar for steelhead & sockeye. He loved to drink & play pool & he was very good at both. He was very ill these last few years & couldn't fish or hunt. His diverticulitis attacks these last few months were horrific for him his last few days I tried to get him to go to the dr. or er, but he refused; I wanted to call 911 the day before, but he said "I will die sitting in my chair with a whiskey bottle n my hand before I'll let them cut on me again" & he did. He is survived by his wife of 54yrs Betty & his sons Bret & Kimberly Robinson, grandsons Eli, Sager Scott Ellis, & Micheal Robinson, son Christopher & Brandi Robinson & granddaughters Luciana & Penelope Robinson, Stepson David & Tina Kampsen, granddaughter Ashley Kampsen, & stepdaughter Shannon Kampsen Guiberson& Pet Guiberson, granddaughter Haley Guiberson, & Jace Guiberson. He has numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father Herbert Robinson, son Nicholas Robinson & his Mother Lucille Robinson.
