Obituary For Robina Lynn Golden

Robina Golden age 64 passed away unexpectedly on January 10th 2022. Robina was born in Renton WA. and grew up on a small farm outside Sumner WA. She started school at Maple Lawn Elementary but before long her family joined the Seventh Day Adventist Church and she attended the local SDA elementary school before transferring back to the Sumner school district where she graduated from Sumner High as a cheerleader, daffodil and Seafair princess.

After high school Robina stayed local between Bonney Lake WA and Auburn WA before laying down her roots back in Sumner WA becoming a permanent resident in 1998. It was there she resumed her passion as a member of the community and being a Sumner Spartan cheerleader from the stands. She was a devout Seventh Day Adventist in Enumclaw WA where she enjoyed many roles throughout her congregation.

Robina’s biggest passion was spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She was extremely proud of her family and could never get enough of them. She enjoyed time with her friends, traveling, gardening and canning. She was a huge Seahawks fan and loved singing….everywhere ….all the time! She lived boldly and stood out. She was a huge light to many.

Most will get to remember Robina by her infectious laugh, kind heart, piercing eyes, a great smile with a beautiful singing voice and her love of God.

Robina is preceded in death by her parents James Ferguson, mother Phoebe Plan and step-father Melvin Plan. Robina is survived by her two daughters Reagan Mackie and Amber Hamre, her 5 grandchildren Cameron, Rylie, Kyla, Joshua and Remianna. Her sister Carol McMahon, and 4 brothers Jon, Dave, Jay and Dan Ferguson. Many in-laws, adoring nieces and nephews and cousins.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Please join us in remembering her with a ceremony held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 3333 Griffin Ave. Enumclaw WA 98022 at 2:00pm on February 12th with a Celebration of Life to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local food banks and shelters.
