Raymond Paul Shamley - beloved son, brother, and uncle - was born on June 25, 1960 in Auburn, WA and passed away May 9, 2025 in Puyallup, WA.
Raymond loved many outdoor activities with fishing being his most passionate. He loved to garden and grow sunflowers. He loved to play bingo, go to the casino, and shop garage and yard sales. Raymond liked to cook, often trying new recipes and different foods.
Raymond was a prankster. He had a pet squirrel monkey which he turned loose during his mom's women's Bible study group when Bible study was held at his house. He liked to pick on his nephews and nieces, all in good fun. His favorite saying to them would be “Well good, you deserved it!” when they got in trouble for doing something they should not have done.
He was preceded in death by his father Eugene, mother Rita, and sister Lucy. He is survived by his sisters Toni (Rod) Rogers, Patty Brooks, Anita Kildare, brother David Shamley, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at a future date.
