Obituary For Philip Glen Sleveland

Philip Glen Sleveland went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 9th, 2019. Loving son, brother and uncle passed away suddenly at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way at the age of 61. Phil was born in Seattle, Washington on January 31st, 1958. His parents bought their first home in Edgewood and Philip lived in the area near his family and friends the remainder of his life. He attended the Fife School District and lettered in Baseball. Phil graduated from Green River Community College in 1978 and later received a degree from the University of Phoenix in 2001. Phil spent the majority of his career, 21 years, with Boeing. He was a lover of sports, excelled in baseball, enjoyed classic cars, music (trumpet) and took great divots in golf! Phil had a heart of gold and a very giving personality. He was also one of the most outgoing and personable people you could know. He was big brother to many and paved the way for his younger brothers. He is greatly missed by those who knew him. Phil is survived by his mother, Hildur; father, Bjorn; brothers, Kenley and Tore; Niece, Kayla; nephews, Kenny and Eric; great niece, Ella; great nephew, Benjamin and ex-wife, Jennifer.

A memorial service will be held at Sumner Voiles Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 27th at 11am, then a graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn at 1pm, followed by a reception at Milton Methodist Church at 2pm.
