Paul Francis Glavin, born 11/13/1940 in Everett Massachusetts passed away at the age of 79 on April 10, 2020 in Puyallup, Washington. Paul spent his childhood in Everett growing up with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He was the 3rd born in their family of 7. Paul ventured west across the country to California and became a steelworker. He met his wife Judy while she was working at a donut shop where he stopped for coffee every morning. They were married on 02/08/1963 in Compton California and have resided in Puyallup Washington for the last 25 years. His love for socializing and charismatic personality captivated people’s attention wherever he went. These traits along with a passion for negotiating led him to a career as a dedicated union man with the United Steelworkers of America where after 30 successful years he retired from the International union as a Sub-District Director. Paul was preceded in death by 3 of his brothers. He is survived by his 2 sisters in Massachusetts, Evelyn and Donna, his brother Jason in NY, his wife Judy in Puyallup, his son Paul F (Sandy) Glavin Jr in Laverne Tennessee, Paul A Glavin in Puyallup, Robert S (Elizabeth) Glavin in Puyallup, James E Glavin in Tacoma, and his daughter, Laurie C Glavin in Auburn. Paul was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with another one on the way. R.I.P. Your legacy lives on!
