Nicole Jane Ehli … born October 20, 1980, in Tacoma, Washington.

My loving daughter, Nicole, passed away on February 15, 2026. Nicole leaves her mother, Dolores Ehli, brother Mike (Dora) Bowman, sister Tami (John) Canney, Aunt Judi Inboden, Uncle Ron Waite, nieces and nephews Sage and Hunter Bowman, Kathryn, Sean and Maura Canney. Nicole was preceded in death by her twin sister, Kianne and her dad, Don Ehli.

Nicole attended Concordia Lutheran School. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 2000 and is a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Rainier Rehabilitation in Puyallup for the loving care and friendship they provided over the last ten years.

Nicole enjoyed the daily activities at Rainier like bingo, exercise class, pet-day and outings to restaurants and shopping. Special thanks to cousin, Debbie Tainer, for her support to our family, and thank you Jeannie Birt for loving Nicole.  We are so grateful for the entire Puget Sound Hospice team's kindness and professionalism.
Also, to Dr. Fishbein at UW Regional Heart Center and, to Shannon Fitzpatrick, who convinced Nicole to have a heart transplant 27 years ago.

Though Nicole’s journey included many challenges, she taught those around her the true meaning of resilience and unconditional love. She found joy in the simplest moments and will be remembered for her love of animals.

A celebration of Nicole’s life will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 4519 112th St E, Tacoma, WA 98446. A luncheon reception will follow the service in the church hall.
