Nick grew up in France and spent many summers with his Granny in Scotland. Nick served in the French Army, the UN Peacekeepers (Blue Helmets) in Bosnia, and with the The King\'s Own Scottish Borderers in the British Army. Nick met Christa outside of a pizza shop in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1997, After a very long distance relationship, Nick and Christa married in Pennsylvania and Settled in the Chicago area. In Chicago, they were blessed with the arrival of Marie, Claire and Mathieu. In 2011, Nick\'s job brought the family to the Pacific Northwest. The family found a wonderful home in Bonney Lake and added the additional blessing of Luc. Nick enjoyed hiking, camping, gardening, woodworking, renovating, cooking, traveling and having loads of fun with his family. Nick was a great friend and mentor to many. Nick also enjoyed a good wine and excellent Scottish single malt whiskey. Nick will be greatly missed and celebrated by his wife, his kids, his family and friends.
