I met Mike a few years ago thru a Mechanic friend who was doing an engine swap on Mike's '58 Pickup. Mike was a Big-Hearted Guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He grew up in the Renton Highlands and one day his childhood Best Friend, both came up to check on the progress of his pickup. We all got to talking and his friend mentioned the name of an employer I worked for when I was a Sophomore in 1976. When his friend, who i didn't recognize, told me his first name, I immediately blurted-out his last name - Evans. Jim Evans. We had worked together at Raven Transfer in Auburn together. Mike used to be a Meat Cutter in Auburn way back when and we knew some of the same people...Being from Auburn and 13 years younger than Mike, it is amazing how our paths crossed and the things and people we knew in common. Sorry to hear you're gone My Friend - until we meet again. Jim Hintz - Orting
