Mary Ann Elizabeth (Miller) Zimmerman of Fife, WA was called Home to be with the Lord on May 22nd joining her husband Joe, her mother, father, and four brothers. Mary was born in Kent, WA on June 29, 1929 to Joseph and Marie Miller. She met the love of her life, Joseph Zimmerman while he was stationed at Fort Lewis. Joseph passed away May 10, 2015 after celebrating 65 years of marriage on 1/28/2015. Mary loved people. She was a little social butterfly. Everyone she met she made a friend. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. She worked several part-time jobs then retired after working many years at Meier’s House of Clocks. She loved working the Puyallup Fair and did until she was 76 years of age. She loved humming birds ever since she wrote about them in school and passed that love to her whole family. Being raised on a farm, she continued to love gardening, nurturing her flower beds, and gambling the casinos made her happy. She had the best sense of humor. Mary\'s most favorite pastime was being with family. Besides her husband Joe, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her heart and soul. She made each one feel like #1. Mary also loved to dance with Joe and now they are forever dancing in heaven. Mary is survived by sons, John (Barbara), Jake (Kathy), Jerry and her daughter, Kathy Olson (Dusty), plus seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and brother-in-law, Fred Zimmerman (Becky), along with many nieces and nephews.
