Obituary For Lloyd John Neuharth

Lloyd John Neuharth was peacefully called home to eternal rest February 15, 2025 while surrounded by family at his home in Orting, WA. Lloyd was born in Tacoma to parents Lloyd & Margaret Neuharth on July 8, 1953. After graduating from Sultan High School in 1971, he received a degree in Political Science from the University of Washington in 1976 where his love for all things Purple, Gold and Huskies started (as well as his hate for the Ducks). After college he began a 30-year career in the Tire Sales Industry. Daughter Heather was born in 1978. He met the love of his life Renee, in 1992, and they settled in Enumclaw. Their family was combined to include everyone in-law & out-law. Once you became a part of Lloyd’s family, you were always a part of Lloyd’s family. August 12, 2002 Renee & Lloyd were married. 30 years after starting in the tire industry, he shifted to a position at Napa in Enumclaw. At the same time, he and Renee also dabbled in owning a small coffee stand. Eventually, continuing with his love of all things automotive, he went into business for himself selling Car Detailing Supplies all over the state. He and Renee eventually downsized and moved into a smaller home in Orting. Hard work was his way, but so was hard play. He was often found at Hot August Nights walking row after row of hot rods, or on the shores of Hanalei Bay soaking in the rays. Lloyd never met a stranger; everyone a friend. His kind eyes, a smirk that let you know he was ready to crack a joke, and the fact that he always had everything a person could ever need in his garage, won over everyone.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Triplett, father Lloyd Neuharth, step-father Harley Triplett, son Joshua Adams, and loyal companions Buddy, Barkley, Stumpy and Eddie G.

He is survived by his wife and princess Renee Neuharth, parents-in-law Bob and Judy Duprie, brothers Willie Neuharth (Karen) and Wayne Triplett (Cathryn), sister Renee Neuharth, brother-in-law Rusty Duprie (Sarah), sister-in-law Sherry McPherson (Alan), daughters Heather Neuharth Day & Melinda Lundberg (Ryan), daughter-in-law Kylee Bergeron, sons Jordan Adams (Naomi) & Ryan Bottorff (Kody), Grandchildren Warren Day, Bradley Lloyd Day, Coral Adams (Logan), Caleb Adams, Delaney Adams, Dakota Adams, Hudson Richmond, Harlow Richmond, Hayden Long, Keelyn Long (Tyler), Logan Adams (Julia), Wiley Adams, Jules Harber, Morgan Bergeron, Hadley Bottorff and Harper Bottorff, loyal companions Rudy and Elvis, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that had become family.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 15, 2025, 11:00 am at the Motion Church-Puyallup Campus 601 9th Ave SE, Puyallup WA.

The one word I could use to describe Lloyd was happy, Lloyd and I met over 4 years ago when I was detailing cars for a new company, it was hard to find new products and find something that I could perfect as a detailing professional then I met Lloyd, an old man that always could remember a name to a face didn't matter if he saw you weekly or monthly but Lloyd had the knowledge and the professionalism to teach you about his products as well as give you a pleasant conversation. I've now been a professional detailer for over 17 years and the products Lloyd has provided me over the years has accelerated my career and my skills if there was anything I could of ever said to lloyd it would be "thank you." Thank you for giving me the knowledge I now have to be able to someday achieve my dream. My condolences go out to Lloyd's family, and I just want to say thank you for sharing him with us thank you for letting him teach and inspire us young guys to achieve our dreams

I worked with Lloyd many times after he became associated with Wesmar. Each of our days started with a visit to the coffee stand and later an enjoyable lunch at Panera Bread. I will miss him and extend my condolences to his family.

How I'm at Lloyd, I had a detail shop on East Main Street in Auburn and Lloyd came by looking for another detail shop when he walked in my door at my shop I didn't have a sign on my building yet, and that was 2 years after I started my detail business. so I asked him what kind of supplies he had and we went out to his truck and looked at them and Lloyd told me the prices ... and his prices were a lot cheaper than westmar products that I was using for detail supplies ... so I stopped using westmar and started using Northwest distributor which Lloyd was working for and he would stop in every couple weeks to check to see if I needed supplies or I called him before the 2 weeks and had him come in sooner for detail supplies ... and he told me he was moving from Enumclaw to Orting and there was a few times that we ate it Los Pinos restaurant which was in far from his house I would text him and ask him if you'd like to meet there it was kind of short notice and he said that he was with his wife or family at the time and couldn't do it ... and so I've been using lawyer for the last 21 years for detail suppliers I would call him from time to time to see if he was having a cold beer and he said yes ... I didn't drink alcohol. He is a great friend and will be sorely missed I would call a couple days a week even when I didn't need supplies to see how he was doing. One thing about Lloyd he always had a smile on his face ! He was my best friend I will talk to him about anything as if he was my dad since I had lost my dad 11 years ago ... someday we will meet again my friend ! Keith
