Obituary For Lisa Michelle Mitchell

After a brave five-year fight with cancer, our dear friend Lisa Michelle Mitchell has entered the transfer portal and left up out of here, relocating to a deluxe apartment in the sky like George and Weezy Jefferson. She will never again have to endure sickness, suffering and pain on this side of heaven and her soul will know peace. Lisa was a proud Air Force veteran who proudly served her country for 20 years.

She was proceeded in death by a loving mother Bonnie Mitchell and her beloved dog Ginger. She leaves behind a host of friends that she made family, who loved her, cherished her and had their lives immensely blessed and made better by simply knowing her. This world may have lost a beautiful soul, but Heaven has gained a Superstar.

I am so sad to hear this. I met Lisa while serving with her in the AF. She had a great sense of humor and brought quite a bit of levity to whatever we were doing. Afterwards, we didn't keep in touch regularly, but on occasion, birthday's, random posts on Facebook, etc. Rest easy Lisa...I'll root for your 49er's a little bit, lol, from now on.
