Krista Marie (Kuusisto) Hickey of Lake Tapps, WA lost her battle with cancer on December 17, 2025, at the age of 47.

Krista was born on September 2, 1978, in Enumclaw, WA to Jack Kuusisto and the late Lynda (Smith) Fallon. She was the oldest of 2 siblings.

Krista graduated from White River High School in 1997. She pursued her passion for beauty and trained as a hair stylist, sharing her talents with clients for many years.

Krista married Isaiah Hickey in 2015, and in 2016, she stepped away from her career to devote herself wholeheartedly to her greatest joy: being a full-time mother to their son Jace and creating a warm, loving home for her family. Krista's world revolved around Jace, and she dedicated herself completely to his care and happiness. She cherished time spent with extended family and friends, whether hanging out in the sunshine or simply enjoying life's simple pleasures. Her love for her family knew no bounds. We will all miss her warm smile, infectious laugh, and bright spirit. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Krista is preceded in death by her mother, Lynda Fallon, and stepfather, Bill Fallon. She is survived by her husband Isaiah Hickey, her son Jace Hickey (9), her sister Missy Lively (Anthony), her niece Lily, her parents-in-law James and Shelly Hickey, her sister-in law Charmane Wargo (Brian) and her nephews Jacob and Sam, and many other loving family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Buckley Eagles, 29021, WA-410, Buckley, WA 98321.
