It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Hammack, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on Dec 23rd 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tacoma. She was 75 years old.

Jean was the daughter of Frank and Monica. She grew up in Eugene Oregon. She met and married Steve Hammack (who passed three years ago) and they had two children, Greg and Jason. She was a devoted wife and caring mom who always supported her family. She provided them with a loving home. She also loved and enjoyed spending time with her daughter-in-law and two grandchildren, who brought her joy and laughter.

Jean had a passion for traveling and loved going to the beaches. This past summer she took one of her last trips to the coast, with her sister Pat and her husband Don, she had an amazing time. She was one of the hardest workers you would ever meet. She enjoyed her last job at a retirement home particularly getting to know her coworkers and the residents. She was a kind, generous, and compassionate person who touched many lives with her warmth and smile. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A joint memorial service with our father, who passed away in the middle of the pandemic is being planned for May.
