Esther “Faith” Ostlie, age 71, passed away Saturday, April 4th at Providence Medical Center in Everett, Washington. Faith Ostlie (Bjornson) was born May 2nd, 1948 in Langdon, North Dakota to Oscar and Esther (Emery) Bjornson. Faith was the 6th of 9 children. She graduated from Milton High School in Milton, ND in 1966, where she participated in Cheer and was Homecoming Queen. After high school, she attended Mayville State College. During school, she married the love of her life, Wayne L. Ostlie, August 20, 1969. Faith graduated college in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. She majored in English and got a dual minor in Psychology and Literature. She taught high school English for one year in Petersburg, ND before moving to Washington State with Wayne and their two young children in the fall of 1973. In Washington, she worked various jobs while being a stay-at-home mom. In 1985, she began a career in the International Air Freight Industry, where she worked until retirement in 2004. Her love for Jesus and her family was evident to everyone that met her. She is preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, Herman, Julian, Robert, and David. Her survivors include; Her husband, Wayne Ostlie of Marysville, WA. Her daughter, Jennifer (Mathew) Main of Sumner, WA, and their children, Jacob Fletcher, Jayden (Benjamin) Smith, Lauren Main and her first great grand baby due September. Her son, Timothy (Leanne) Ostlie of Marysville, WA and their children, Tanner, Tatum and Liam Ostlie. Her siblings, Hazel Nelson, John (Carol) Bjornson, Valerie (Harley) Borchardt, Mary (Richard) Wild, and numerous nieces and nephews in North Dakota. A private Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Sumner Cemetery
