Donna May Hart, age 87, passed away peacefully on August 17th, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, Washington. She was born August 16th, 1934 in Ottawa, Kansas, the eldest of five children, to Clarence and Lucille (McFarland) Jones. The family moved to California and then to Washington state in the Auburn area, where she raised her three sons. Having her first son at the age of 17, she later completed her high school requirements and received her GED. Married to Don Hart for 51 years, she worked alongside her husbands’ small business called Dons Dozer Service. They retired in July of 1999. Donna was a kind person who loved her family, providing many good memories by hosting get togethers. Having a loving and sincere spirit, she was primarily responsible for the help and care given to her disabled brother Jack. Her compassion extended to animals as shown in her membership with the Humane Society, including many other contributions to worthwhile charities. Donna was a long-time member to the Eagles (FOE) in Auburn and then Orting. She supported and volunteered to do many good programs and services. Their small business sponsored some activities. At home, Donna enjoyed cooking and was well known for her cookie/brownie plates given to family and friends. She had a passion for nature, particularly flowers. Donna crafted beautiful flower arrangements using real, artificial, or a combination to include bows and ribbons. Donna is survived by her husband Don of Bonney Lake, sister Pat and brother Gary of Ryderwood, son David of Bonney Lake, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandkids. Donna is preceded in death by her brothers Bill and Jack; daughters Shari and Mareena and sons Danny (2004) and Michael (Mic) (2021). Donnas’ last requests were simple. Her wish to be cremated was honored and complete at Sumner Voiles Funeral Chapel, along with other legal accommodations required when one dies. Her wish for a small family/friend celebration of life is pending. Family members are considering options to determine the best time and place. She was loved by all. Memory and condolences are welcome and may be sent to: Don Hart, 12713 223rd Ave E, Bonney Lake, WA 98391.
