Donald Gene Brown passed away peacefully on Monday, July 31st. He is preceded in death by his father Morris, mother Erma and younger brother James. He leaves behind his sister’s Isla Mae and Carol, his son Thomas, Daughter Stacie and Granddaughter Parker.

He was born on May11th 1942 in Webster, Wisconsin. After moving through several states the family finally settled in Seattle Washington where he graduated in 1960 from Highline high school. Don always looked back fondly at his time in high school and loved reconnecting with old friends at reunions over the years.

He quickly delved into his long career in machinery and enjoyed his long days and nights in Jade Machine shop. In fact he enjoyed it so much that he’d joke about working part time in a shop after he retired.

Outside from his career he enjoyed, travelling, fishing, camping, dancing, and gardening. Don would never pass up a good meal with his family and friends - his appetite was legendary.

He enjoyed a good party with some karaoke standing next to his baby brother although partygoers note that he would always arrive late but, he was the last to leave.

Anyone that met him remembers his infectious energy, sly smirk and that twinkle in his eyes. He was a friend to all but, loved animals and kids the most. He cherished his time as a grandfather, always answering the “can we get ice cream?” question with a sweet “why not!”
