David Charles Glaser Son of the late Charles and Hazel Glaser. Born in Puyallup, Washington on 6-12-1936. Dave lived and attended school in Orting, WA. where he excelled at sports and made many lifelong friends. After school Dave married Leona Fish and had four children; Gary, Mike, Randy, and daughter Roxanne. After some years Dave married Sharon Smith and with her came a blended family with Jerry, Terry, Nickie, Casey and Jake Smith. Dave and Sharon later had a daughter, Alicia Glaser. Besides his family Dave had a love for motorcycles, fishing, and clam digging. Dave spent many years racing motorcycles in the professional flat track circuit where he won many awards and had great opportunities like working with the late Evil Knievel on his bikes. Dave was also a founding member of the Blue Barons Motorcycle Club. Dave shared his love of fishing with family and friends teaching them the latest and greatest techniques of salmon snagging and avoiding fish and game. Many days were spent on the river with a smile on his face and a fishing rod in his hand. Dave’s clam digging skills were every bit as good as his fishing but again sometimes he would get so excited he would lose count on his limit. Dave retired after many years from the WA. State Soldiers Home in Orting and enjoyed his retirement with his wife Sharon and walking his dog to the river and riding his motorcycle. Dave rode his motorcycles until he was 82 before he retired from riding. Not a moment has passed without a smile or a shit eating grin on his face. Dave was preceded in death by his son, Randy Glaser. Dave is survived by his brothers Jim and wife Ranell Glaser and Bill Glaser, his sons Gary, Mike and wife Nanette, his daughters Roxanne Love and husband Tom, and Alicia Britz and husband Richard, step children Jerry and Medina Smith, Terry Smith, Nickie and Clint Covey, Casey and Julie Smith, and Jake and Niki Smith. 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Dave will be remembered by his smile and kindness and missed by all. Ride on Dave.
