Catherine Jean Mulvey, age 70, died peacefully at her home in Puyallup on November 21, 2019. Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on March 4 to John Adam Noll and Madeline Dorothy Zack, she was a longtime resident of Connecticut and had recently retired to Washington state and enjoyed the mountain views and spending time with three of her grandchildren. She was a 1972 graduate of St. Raphael School of Nursing in New Haven, and was a proud dedicated emergency room nurse for over 43 years. She was a friend and mentor to those she worked with at St. Raphael’s in New Haven, Yale Shoreline in Guilford, and St. Francis in Poughkeepsie. She was predeceased by her husband Paul J. Mulvey who passed in 2006, and her younger brother Michael Noll who passed in 1992. She is survived by her brother, John Noll of New Hampshire; son Christopher & his wife Lisa of Arlington, Massachusetts; son Adam & his wife Jessica of Puyallup, Washington; six beloved grandchildren – Tessa, Max, Ellie, Olivia, Arthur & Theodore (Teddy); and many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a treasured “Nana” and “Gram” and delighted in the travels and accomplishments of her grandchildren. She was proud of the architectural achievements of her oldest son, and the military service of her youngest. She was the rock of her family - supportive, caring and kind. May her soul be bound up in the bond of life.
