Obituary For Bradley Burton Lane

Bradley Burton Lane, 69, passed peacefully on March 21, 2021, at Good Samaritan hospital in Puyallup, Washington. Brad was born on June 4, 1951 in Spokane, Washington to Roy and Alta Lane. Brad grew up in Kent, Washington and attended Kent Meridian high school. Brad served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and left with an honorable discharge as a Lance Corporal.

Since Brad was a child he had a passion for fishing and as an adult would go long range sport fishing. When Brad became a grandpa, he proudly taught his three grandchildren how to fish. Brad enjoyed the outdoors and scenic drives on his motorcycle. On many sunny days Brad and his wife would ride his motorcycle to the mountains, take some pictures and stop for lunch before heading back home. Brad’s favorite baseball team was the Los Angeles Dodgers and his love-hate relationship for the Seattle Mariners was always strong. Brad and his wife visited many baseball stadiums across the country.

In admiration of his father it was not a surprise that Brad followed in his father’s footsteps to join the family business to become a drywaller, among many other trades such as painting and interior remodeling of homes and businesses. In return, Brad was always eager to pass his knowledge on to his son.

Brad’s interests included history, western movies and spending time with his family and friends. Most of all Brad had a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Brad is survived by his mother, Alta; wife, Patricia; his son, Dolan and his wife, Anita and his three grandchildren, Isabella, Logan and Henry; his siblings, Rick, Kay, Russ, Tim, Tami and Jeff. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy and his sister, Karen.

We will come together to celebrate the life of Brad on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 18228 273rd Ave East, Carbonado, Washington 98323 to share memories, stories, tears and laughter. To honor Brad, we request you wear boxing, fishing or baseball swag to celebrate his favorite sports.
