Alec Curtis Warwick was received by the Lord on July 1, 2020 from complications brought on by vasculitis. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; sons, Ryan and Brett; daughter, Kara; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. His sister Anita will also mourn his loss.
He was born on May 3, 1951 in Salem, New Jersey to Alec and June. His voice was unmistakably unique, forever hushed as a result of a surgical error when he was just six months old. This prevented him from fulfilling one of his desires later in life which was to sing. He majored in Psych and Aeronautics at Central in Ellensburg where he met Cheryl. They would share 46 and a half years of marriage together.
Alec had an extraordinary understanding of people and the human psyche, something which he passed down to his three children. He may have been diminutive in height, but the well of his soul and exuberant warmth ran deep. He was a prime source of counsel for the many people who came to know him over the years. He had a multitude of talents. Among them were drawing, culinary arts, and computers. He had many passions - music (Alec was an avid trumpet player in his youth), movies, video games, aviation, psychology, offbeat humor, and a fondness for cats unmatched by anyone else on the planet. Alec loved to read (mostly fantasy and science fiction) and was never short of a book, perhaps one of the contributors to his diverse knowledge. His soft-spoken wisdom always rang true, and he always had an answer to any question one could throw at him. Alec was strong in his faith and attended the Sumner Free Methodist Church until 1994 when the family began attending Calvary Community Church (which they still do to this day). His spirit will live on eternally through the many lives he touched throughout his time on this earth.
