Obituary For Jocelyn Ann Bulcao

Jocelyn Ann Bulcao, age 22, passed from this life on March 6th, 2024 in Lakewood, Washington.

Jocelyn, affectionately nicknamed “Jay” or “Jo,” was born September 4th, 2001 in Antioch, California to parents Courtney Wood and Randall Bulcao; her life was filled with laughter, love, and adventure. Jocelyn embodied creativity, whether that was in dance moves, sewing projects or her artistic expression; her spontaneity made moments that became lifetime memories; and her curiosity kept her, and those around her, on the cutting edge of social activities, playful possibilities, and unique interests; she was certainly one who “danced to her own beat,” but it was certainly captivating to others; if ever there was someone that embodied the phrase “ … she never met a stranger…” it was her, perhaps it is no surprise then that our hearts are breaking with her absence.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather Courtney and Matthew Wood and her father and stepmother Randall and Amanda Bulcao. She is also survived by her siblings Robert Bulcao (27) and his wife Breaunna (26), Natalie Bulcao (24) and her fiancée Dylan Knight (24), Julie Bulcao (16), Kenny Neyrinck, Jr. (15), and Anthony Bulcao (14).

Please join us for the memorial service on March 22nd, 2024 from 1-4 PM at 15124 Main Street E. in Sumner, Washington 98390. A celebration of life will be held in California at a future date for those who cannot attend the services in Washington. Cards and gifts may be sent to 8605 119th St. Ct. E Puyallup, Washington 98373. Let us join together to reminisce, share, and pay tribute to a life cut too short.

Your presence and support would mean the world to us as we come together to celebrate the everlasting impact Jocelyn had on each of us.
