Toni M. Jilek, 70, of Lake Tapps, WA, succumbed to her courageous battle with Lymphoma Cancer on June 28, 2023. Toni was born October 29, 1952, in Chico CA to Larry and Nedra Foushay. She had six siblings: Pete Peterson, Maggie Duncan, Mimi Merker, Gail Conner, Dan Darnall, and Pat Sims. Toni is survived by her two children Patrick Hinton and Christine Monroe and her stepchildren Tracy Jilek, Bambi Jilek, and Koree Jilek. Toni was a very proud Grandmother to her eleven grandchildren: Sydney, Seth, Isaiah, Colton, Rachel, Isaak, Emily, Clark, Joey, Tristian, Sarah, and her great grandchild Guinevere. She was very active and supportive in all their lives. Toni was well known for her generosity, gentle heart, and love for animals. Her home became a haven for the lost or stray and she took great pleasure in her morning routine of having coffee and watching the squirrels that she fed every day. Toni was an avid “12” Fan. She loved the Seahawks and her game day parties at her home were a favorite among friends and family. She loved her Bingo nights, as it became a favorite way to spend quality time with her friends and family. Toni earned a master’s degree in business administration at Villanova University, which lead to a successful career at Boeing where she met the love of her life, Bob Jilek. In their 20 years of marriage, the two of them traveled together and had misadventures that were retold with great hilarity to friends and family. Love and laughter always filled their lives and home. During Toni’s final days all she wanted was to be with Bob and they are now reunited in their love.
