Neilan Harris Johnson Jr. was born January 18, 1965, and heaven welcomed him on March 21, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
He leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Mary Ann Johnson, Brother, Jeff (Amy) Johnson, and sisters, Stephanie Johnson, Mona and Celena Moreno, and several nieces and nephews, his daughters Rendi and Jadyn Johnson, and his four grandchildren, Lincoln Johnson (7), Steven Greenwood (2), Avery and Calvin Greenwood (7 months). Preceded in death by his father, Neilan Harris Johnson Sr., and Mother, Eleanor June Camperud.
Neil and his wife, Mary Ann grew up in South Park, Seattle where they attended the same school and became high school sweethearts. Neil graduated from Cleveland High School and became a sales rep for Treasure Chest Advertising. In 2004, Neil became a sales manager for Rotary Offset Press and dedicated over 30 years to the printing industry. In 2001, Neil became a council member for the City of Bonney Lake and in 2006, Neil became the Mayor of Bonney Lake, where he proudly served his community for 20 years. Serving his community was his passion and was important to him.
He was a dedicated father for 30 years where he coached both his daughters’ sports teams throughout their entire childhood. Neil was so loved by so many people, an inspiration to all and his legacy will be remembered forever.
