Born on August 9, 1941, in Kansas, Hazel was a vibrant and joyful presence, known for her love of traveling to Leavenworth, her deep commitment to family and community, and her cherished dog, Sugarplum. Their bond was truly special; Sugarplum was not just a pet, but a beloved companion who brought Hazel endless joy and comfort. Her home was a warm and welcoming space, filled with laughter, stories, and love.

In her professional life, Hazel took pride in her work in security at The Boeing Company, where she made significant contributions before retiring. She was also a talented painter and an avid doll collector, hobbies that brought her great joy throughout her life.

Hazel's memory will be lovingly preserved by her daughter, Debbie Patterson; son, Robert Boucher; granddaughters, Tabitha Lane, Terah Hamilton, and Chelsea Boucher; brother, Robert Johnson; and nieces and nephews, including Kelly Hance, Tyke Blum, Paula Lundquist, and James Buckley.
